How to end the second last day of holidays? GOING TO MBFWA- The Weekend Edition! After the most tiring but fun week at Whitehouse Institute of Design, I attended MBFWA- The Weekend Edition on Sunday the 19th. I took heaps and heaps of photos and wanted to share my experience, so lets begin!
When we reached our destination at Carriageworks around 11:30am, we still had about an hour to kill before our runway show session started. So Phoebe, who is the writer of IndustryP and I went around and of corse took a few snaps inside and outside of Carriageworks. When we were walking towards the entrance, a security man offered to take a photo of us in front of the sign. Sadly, it was on a weird angle and was blurry... He was nice though!
Walking to the front desk, we showed our tickets and that's where our MBFWA- The Weekend Edition experience started. Everything was so fancy and the layout was absolutely stunning. I didn't even know where to go first, or where to look first!

It was time! The Runway was a collaborated show of some of the best pieces throughout MBFWA previewing the Spring/ Summer 15/16. It was a collection of 36 leading Australian designers including AJE, Jayson Brunsdon, By Johnny, Betty Tran and many more!
We were lucky enough to get allocated seats in the second row so had a really clear view of all the models strutting their way down the runway. Not only a good view but also a little gift bag filled with goodies! Every designer had such a unique approach to their designs and I just fell in love with the bold pops of colour and monochrome classics. There was also really good lighting and music, which changed throughout the entire show! I was very very impressed!

After and before the show, I approached a few people who also came to experience the best of MBFWA on the Sunday. Took a few snaps of their outfits and had really good conversations. It's always good fun to get to know others who are also passionate towards fashion!
After taking a whole heap of photos and just having so much fun, we were getting super hungry. So Phoebe and I decided to go and grab some lunch at a small cafe in the area. To find out more about our food adventure and to see even MORE photos, be sure to head over to her blog (IndustryP) and check it out!
